Purchasing a Serendipity Subscription
A Serendipity Subscription makes for a thoughtful gift or treat that lasts, keeps surprising and is tailored to the giftee. It is all about discovery… receiving a subscription of this nature is a fun experience. You get to enjoy the anticipation of waiting for the box to arrive through the door, the surprise of discovering what is inside and finding products and brands you may never have known about. Many of us can get completely stuck for what to buy as a gift and with the fast pace of life we can often find ourselves having limited time. With multiple pricing tiers for a range of budgets, Serendipity can help you gift for any occasion.
On buying a Serendipity Subscription as a gift you have three options:
- Get a welcome pack sent to you in the post so you can give it to your giftee for their special occasion
- Get a welcome pack sent directly in the post to the giftee with your personal message
- Print the welcome pack at home (this will not include the little treat that gets posted in the welcome packs)
On buying a Serendipity Subscription as a treat to self:
You will get a confirmation welcome email and membership number. You will be directed to the Club Serendipity Members Portal to enter this number and start completing your personal profile.
If I am buying this as a gift can I complete the personal profile for them myself?
We feel that to get the accuracy of gift matching right it is better for the person receiving the gift to complete the profile section as they will know themselves the best.
What happens if I do not like a gift or it arrives damaged?
We, at Serendipity, work meticulously to gift match to your personal preferences through the profiling questionnaire at the start of your membership. At this time we are unable to offer returns unless your gift is faulty or has been damaged in the post.
If this is the case please let us know within 14 days of receiving your gift (this applies to each gift sent as part of the subscription) by emailing email@example.com
What is the cost of delivery and how long does it take?
We are delighted to include free delivery on all subscriptions.
We use 2nd Class Royal Mail to deliver our packages and this can take 2-3 working days to reach you. If you are in a hurry to receive a welcome pack you can opt to print this straight from your PC - a bit less snazzy than our beautiful welcome packs but great if you are running out of time and need an instant gift.
The element of surprise is what we are really after and this is why we do not disclose when we will send the gifts.
What if nothing arrives?
A tricky one when you are not meant to know when we are sending things!… Well to ensure this does not happen we will email you after the delivery window has passed with a little note letting you know that Serendipity should have arrived through your letterbox. Our parcels are clearly visible as we have specially branded Serendipity packaging. If you receive this email and nothing has arrived then you will be prompted to contact us so we can send you a replacement with our sincerest apologies.
What if I am not in to receive it?
The majority of our gifts fit in a mailer designed to slide through standard letterboxes. We may however like to send you something bigger from time to time. If you are not at home often then we recommend using a work address. Nothing in the box is perishable so you don’t need to worry if the package is sitting waiting for you for a day or so.
If you are going on holiday there are a number of things you can do, either the box can wait for you on your doormat or you can let us know by either completing the upcoming holidays section in your Club Serendipity member profile.
Sign up outside UK
As we are a relatively new company we have not got to looking beyond UK borders to post our services out far and wide - but hold tight we will get there just as soon as we can!
Updating my details
If you are changing your name, address or email just let us know by emailing firstname.lastname@example.org and we will update your records.
If you have changed your mind about wanting this subscription either as a treat to self or to gift a loved one then you have 14 days to cancel and a full refund will be issued minus the cost of the welcome pack (if you opted for the pack to be sent in the post).
